V ith reference to the Chekiangsu situation, the British, American, French, and Japanese Ministers have sept a Note to Waiehiaopu saying that their Governments will hold the Chinese responsible in the event of losses by their nationals through fighting. The British sent a separate Note regarding the Shanghai-Nankin railway.—Renter.
