GENERAL TELEGRAMS.
MOTOR VEHICLES BILL. (by telegraph:—PßESS association.) HAMILTON, Aug. 27. A conference of representatives of South Auckland county councils discussed the Motor Vehicles Bill provisions, and resolved that they were unjust, unsound, and inequitable, and that they should be rejected in toto. The executive of the Counties’ Association is to be urged to call the whole of the counties together to formulate evidence for the Parliamentary Committee to which the Bill has been referred.
