Received Aug. 26, 1,45 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 25. The Ministry has appointed an influential committee of engineers and surveyors to report on the Geddes Severne project, cabled on May 8, and previously held up on account of the enormous cost it involves in the construction of a concrete dam two miles long, adjacent to the junction of the IV ye with the Severne. It is estimated to develop 500,000 horse-power.—Aus,-N.Z. Cable Assn.
