It is expected that to-morrow’s rep. game will be a good one to watch, as the North Auckland team is a lot stronger than some people think it is. A Taranaki man who saw the game against Auckland said that Auckland were lucky to win, and from his description of the play this seems to have been the case. However, the visitors will be up against a tough proposition in the Taranki team. The North Aucklanders ayirived in Hawera last night, and to-day were the guests ot the Taranaki Rugby Union on a motor trip to New Plymouth. The match to-morrow is timed to start at 2 p.m.. in order to enable the visitors to connect with steamer at New Plymouth that night. The Taranaki football semi-finals in the second and third grades were played at Inglewood yesterday, on a dry ground and in the presence of n good attendance. Stratford drew with Urenui after a hard-fought game, each side scoring three points.
