STOLE HIS EMPLOYER’S MONEY. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WANGANUI. Aug. 22. A young man named Lionel Edward Mosen, who has been driving a baker’s cart for Win. Palmer, pleaded guilty to the theft of £lOl 7s XRd, the funds of bis employer, and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. A. SEVERE LESSON. AUCKLAND, Aug. 22. At the Police Court John E. Small was fined £SO for removing timber from the Northcote Timber Reserve, the magistrate remarking that the maximum penalty was £IOO. A MONTH IN GAOL. AUCKLAND. Aug. 22. George Havord, for being drunk while in charge of a- taxi, which he was driving without the owner’s permission, and the theft of a rug, was sentenced to one month in gaol on each charge.
