EGYPTIAN TOMBS.
FURTHER DISCOVERY REPORTED. STORY OF UNTOLD, WEALTH. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT LONDON, Aug. 20. An American banker who has returned from Cairo reports that three tombs have been discovered in the Valley of the Kings a thousand years older than Tutankhamen. Lord' Carnarvon’s party discovered the first clue to their existence from inscriptions found m the 1923 excavations. They are believed to contain untold wealth because they belong to the period when gold and ivory were used for the furnishing of the royal palaces instead of polished wood. They are situated uithin me miles of Tutankhamen's tomb.
