The Chamber of Commerce lias adopted a report by the council recommending the Government to improve and strengthen the finance of the Publicity Department. 7 Phe report suggested spending £IOO,OOO annually, and the retention of the present primage duty for the purpose. The Chamber also adopted,a lengthy report in favour of numerous amendments in the bankruptcy laws, which are considered to be out of date.
