WOOLSTON FIRE.
A SECOND OUTBREAK. (fiV TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH. Aug. 20. While nearly all the available firemen were engaged at the Woolston fire late last evening an .outbreak was discovered in Ridley’s Buildings, of three storeys, at the corner of Lichfield and Manchester Streets. The lire at one stage threatened the destruction of the building, but was subdued after several hundred pounds worth of damage had been done to the stock of various tenants CHRISTCHURCH. Aug. 20. The total insurance involved is £55,000 in the London and Lancashire, largely reinsured.
