A DISTINGUISHED VISITOR. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Aug 18. Professor John Adams, the distinguished English educationist, who has come to New Zealand on the invitation of the Education Department, University professors, and the Teachers’ Association, and will deliver a series of addresses at the four main centres, arrived from Sydney to-day and was welcomed by Dr. Mnrsden, AssistantDirector of Education, and Professor Tennant- (of Victoria College). He will be given a civic reception to-day.
