’QUAKES IN JAPAN.
STRONG AND MINOR SHOCKS. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT TOKIO, Aug. 13. Two strong earth tremors, centred 200 miles south-west of Magoya, occurred at 2.35 and 9.40 this morning. Several minor shocks alarmed the people of Central Japan, and thousands rushed out of their houses, but no serious damage is reported.
