MANAIA.
(I rom Our Own Correspondent.) The meeting called in the Town Hall m Tuesday evening, in reference to the erection of bathing ,sheds at the Tvaupokonm beach, was very largely attended. Air A. G. Bennett was electeti to the chair and spoke at some length about the reason for calling the meeting.
Aliss S. Lewin suggested the building if dressing sheds and the provision o*f ite-savnig apparatus. Air. Andrew Hansen suggested forming a club to work together and get muds tor beach improvements. Mrs. A. H. Christie suggested a sledge shack and the advisability of iorimng a road down to the beach. It was proposed by Air. Ai'idrew Hansen that a club he formed to be caHed the AYaimate Plains Seaside Uub Clncorporated).—Seconded bv Airs A. H. Christie and carried. Mrs. A H. Christie moved that subscribers of os or more be members of the club.—Seconded by Airs. Lewin and carried.

Christie and Alf Hansen were elected to interview Air Garni in and report progress at next meeting which is to he held next Wednesday n, the Town Board room. lhe election of officers and preparation of rules were left over to the next meeting. on the motion of Air Andrew Hansen.
