THE RUAHINE.

EXPERIENCING ROUGH WEATHER (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 7. According to wireless advice received by the New Zealand Shipping Company from the captain of the Ruahine, the vessel is being considerably delayed by a heavy southerly gale on the final stages of the voyage from London and Southampton to Wellington. A previous wireless message from the captain intimated that the Ruahine expected to reach Wellington harbour at 5 p.m. to-morrow, but the latest report states that she may be expected to arrive at 8 o’clock to-morrow, or later. The Ruahine is bringing over 500 passengers in the three classes for all parts of New Zealand. The passengers include 332 assisted immigrants. The new settlers include ten English public school boys, who are going to positions on various farms. There are no domestic servants on the Ruahine.
