In an Association match to-day the Canadian footballers, who are returning to Canada by the Makura, drew with the Auckland representatives. Rain fell throughout the game and the ground was a quagmire. Despite the conditions, both, teams gave a fast, nippy display, and the visitors showed good combination. The filial score was one all.

quarters, Law, Mullins. Bailey: fiveeighths, McDonald and Cook; halt, Wigzell; rover, Staite; forwards. Carroll, Dobbyn, Anderson, Gothard, Peebles. Tyree, Galp'in; reserves, Aitehison (back) and Sly (forward). One alteration has been made in the Taranaki team, which was announced by the Star yesterday. Owing to Cameron (Hawera) being injured on Saturday, he will be replaced at first five-eighths by R. Oliver (Tukapa). The Taranaki team will assemble •at the Commercial Hotel, Stratford, at 11 o’clock on Thursday mornfhg. Mr. H. G. Whittington has been appointed referee.' Mr. W. Carrutli’ers is the manager of' the Manawatu team.
