Hall, farmer, Afangatainoka, had his foot severely gashed by an axe while assisting a neighbour to extricate a cow in a bog;. The axe severed the boot. Hall was sent to hospital. The latter had his foot on a tussock while his neighbour was using the axe. ACCIDENTALLY SHOT. AUCKLAND, Aug. 2. A young Alaori mimed Robert Were, who was accidentally shed by a companion at Patumahoe, died in hospital find night.
