FRANCE SEEKING AGREEMENT. BY CABLE-PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received Aug. 1, 9.25 a.m. . LONDON, July 31. The Paris correspondent to The Times says that the stage is rapidly setting for the opening of Franco-Rus-sian recognition. Frequent telegrams are being exchanged between Paris and Moscow, and the French Government has assured the Soviet Government that France is ready to show the goodwill necessary for tne resumption of normal relations. It. asks the Soviet in return to meet the iust claims of the French Government.—Times.
