OLD CEMETERY.
HUMAN REMAINS UNEARTHED. (BY TELEGfcHPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, August 1. •Excavations for the electric mains in the vicinity of the Town Hall disclosed a number of coffins and a quantity of human remains. The Town Hall site was formerly a cemetery, which was closed in 1819, when supposedly the whole of the coffins were removed to Rookwood. The present discoveries are to be left undisturbed.
