(From Our Own Correspondent). A meeting of dairy farmers was held at the factory at Wlienuakura on Monday evening last for the purpose of considering the question of forming a branch of the Dairy Fanners’ Union. Mr F. Pa rsons presided. The meeting was addressed by Mr Small, chairman of the Kai rang a Dairy Company, and president of the New Zealand Dairy Farmers’ Union, and by Messrs Williams (Palmerston North) and Levein (organiser of the union). At the* close of the address it was unanimously agreed to form a branch at Whenuakura-, and Air F. Parsons was elected president and Air R. \Y. Hamerton sec lxd arv. Airs .Fdsor - Yarnhaiu’s vaudeville entertainment in aid of the funds of the local football club took place on Friday evening last, ami was very well attended. The programme presented was a very generous one. and the various items were well rendered, and a number of encores demanded. The whole of the proceeds go to the club, which will benefit very materially. l
