WINE SALES.
INCREASING IN CANADA. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT ' OTTAWA, July 29. According to the report of the Quebec Liquor Commission, the sales of wines have increased by 600 per cent, in the last two years, with an appropriate decrease in the sale of hard liquor. The commission plans to open wine instead of liquor stores wherever possible.
