MEDICAL STUDENTS.
—* CLINICAL COURSE AT AUCKLAND. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.; . AUCKLAND, July 29. The establishment in Auckland, of a course of clinical instruction for medical students was urged at a special meeting of the Auckland Hospital Board to-dav by Drs. Tewsley and Milsom as a deputation from the honorary staff. It was proposed, said Dr. Tewsley, to put on three different courses of three terms as in Dunedin. Mr Potter (a member of the board): “It is practically a scheme for instituting a medical school in Auckland?” Dr. Tewsley: “No; not exactly. We propose to offer onlv clinical instruction.” The hoard decided that the superintendent (Dr. Maguire) should report to the board and that the honorary staff should place details before it.
