GROWTH IN AUSTRALIA. BY CABLE—rBEBB ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Rereived July 29, 9.45 a.m. MELBOURNE, July 29. Official statistics of the output of the canned fruit industry show that in 1923 there were fifteen canneries operating under the Commonwealth fruit pool, and these were increased to twenty-nine in the 1921 pack held by the pool. In 1923 the out put was 1.599,087 dozen tins and this was increased to 2,059,551 in 1924. —Ans.-N.Z. Cable y Assn. \
