Official statistics of the output of the canned fruit industry show that in 1923 there were fifteen canneries operating under the Commonwealth fruit pool, and these were increased to twenty-nine in the 1921 pack held by the pool. In 1923 the out put was 1.599,087 dozen tins and this was increased to 2,059,551 in 1924. —Ans.-N.Z. Cable y Assn. \
