NORTHERN TARANAKI OUTPUT. NEARLY 500 TONS AIORE FAT. The expansion in the, production of butter ami cheese in North Taranaki is levealed in the official returns for Jie season .of the Taranaki Producers’ ; l i eezi ug \\ orks Company, which was -directors yesterday. Ihe past season’s production" of 10,176 tons of butter-fat was greater by 480 tons than that of the previous season anu also exceeded that of 1919-20 seasonl5 .'' no ,ess ,thtul 3697 tons. Th-e growth in the ontnut over the past five seasons is clearly' indicated in the following table, which -also effoirds striking evidence of the influence of dual plants in North Taranaki in the varied production of butter and cheese over the period mentioned
The combined weight of the output of butter ancl cheese in each of the seasons stated is 13,552 tons in 191920; 12,518 tons in 1920-21; 15,473 tons in 1921-22; 16,129 tons in 19‘t0.9;f - and 19,103 tons in 1923-24.—News.
