Confidential negotiations which have been proceeding for some time re the purchase of their Manaia branch between the directors of the Kaupokonui Dairy Factory Co., Ltd., and Mr D. Robertson, representing The Farmers’ Unfon Trading Co., Ltd., were successfully concluded on Friday last. The date of possession is Ihe 27th August, and The Farmers’ Trading Co., Ltd., expect to conduct this latest link in their Taranaki chain of stores in accordance with their policy of lowest prices for cash. This is the second factory store The Farmers 'Union Trading Co. have taken Over, as only last week they completed the purchase of the Moa Dairy Farmers’ Co-operative store at Inglewood.*
The sale of X. B. Howell’s assigned stock, purchased at 10/- in the £ by the Melbourne Limited, has been the means cf putting scores of unprecedented bargains in the hands of the public.
