GRATIFYING INCREASE. - A gratifying increase is shown in the revenue received by the Post and ylelegraph Department ‘for the quarter .tended June 30. The revenue totalled £765,028, compared with £623,860 for the June quarter of 1923. The revenue for the principal centres fob the June O’.'fU'ter of 1924 was: Auckland, £163,non ’ Hamilton, rgdl, £19,173; Napier, £24,943; New 22 Wanganui, £22,230; Wellington, £18o;836. Savings Bank deposits totalled £2,597,610. telegraph receipts totalled £179,527 compared with £164,073.
