AWARDS AT MASTERTON. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION > MASTERTON, July 25. Ihe Masterton fancy and utility poultry show, which in two years has grown to attract the second largest entries in New Zealand, opened here to-day, birds from all over the Dominion competing. The following championships were awarded: American Brown Leghorns.—F. W. Heaven (Masterton). Rhode Island Reds (fancy).—S Milligan (Wanganui). / Rhode Island utility.—Donald Laing (Masterton). Black Rose-comb Bantams.—Betts Bros. (Palmerston North).
