The British Medical Association conference rejected the Arch bishop of York’s appeal fo,r a full inquiry into spiritual healing, passing a resolution that an investigation would lie likely to lead outside the association’s recognised activities. Dne doctor advocated compulsory notification of cancer, declaring that (000 lives could he saved annually by increased propaganda.
