CITY BURGLARIES. (by telegraph-—press association.! WELLINGTON, July 24. Burglars have been visiting city confectionery shops during the week-end, and from three such premises secured £l6O in cash. The police yesterday arrested a man who will be charged with one of these offences. KANGAROOS FOR ZOO. W ELLINGTON, July 24. A pair of kangaroos were brought to Wellington yesterday by the Ulimaroa from Sydney for Wellington zoo. PEDIGREE - rams. „ WELLINGTON, July 24. The Ulimaroa brought seventeen pedigree rams from an Australian 'Station for a New Zealand firm.
