The Government Meteorologist telegraphed that for the 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day the indications are for southerly winds, moderate to strong. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy breather. Tho night will probably ho jFvery cold, with frosts inland. Baro-
meter rising slowly. Seas moderate; tides poor.
