LEAGUE OF EMPIRE CONFERENCE SIR ERNEST RUTHERFORD HONOURED. BY CABLE—PRESB ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT LONDON, July 16. Ihe League of Empire Education Conference delegates include Professor Kirk (New Zealand) and a number of Australians. Mr Trevelyan, Minister for Education, in presenting to Sir Ernest Rutherford the Franklin medal, said that Sir Ernest Rutherford was the greatest living experimentalist. This honour gave the Mother Country particular pleasure, for it honoured one of the Dominions. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
