. TROUBLE, IN DELHI. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT DELHI, July 12. Severe fighting occurred between Hindus ancl Mussulmans, which, spread all over the city. Seven persons were reported to have been killed. The police are patrolling with armoured "ars and towards evening the situation became quieter. All shows in the cty and the principal public gardens have been closed and precautions taken to prevent further rioting. The cause of the disturbance is attributed objecting to a Mohammedan boy drawing water from a particular well. The boy was severely belaboured, and subsequently died in hospital.
