Wages Bill in connection with the clause providing that the agricultural wages committees.'subject to confirmation by the Agricultural Wage Board, shall fix the minimum rates of wages. An amendment, moved by Mr Aeiand (Liberal) to strike out ‘‘confirmation by Wages Board’’ was carried by 27 votes to 17. Mr Noel Buxton said be would consider the. situation. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
