AGREEMENT WITH GERMANY. PROTEST BY FR ANCE, 8T CABLE—PRESB ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT Cabinet yesterday discussed a. recent note from the French Legation saying it was understood that a Chino-German agreement had been, reached - which contravened the Versailles Treaty as regards the disposal of German property. The reserved the right to protest. Cabinet resolved to forward an early reply. J The Government received a telegram from Wu Pei Fu urging that both the British and American returned Boxer indemnities be used for railway construction. T Biitish, Japanese and French .negations have '.submitted another formal protest to Wai Chiao Pu regarding bun Yat ben’s recent establishment of a salt administration at Canton Reuter.
