The Expressed opinion of an expert was given by a stock agent at ,a meeting of farmers in Masterton the other day that dry rot and club root were bound to become/prevalent in the Wairarapa with the continued growing of swedes. Tlie agent himself contended (states the Age) that Wairampa'was not so susceptible to these blights as other districts, and would not be if farmers lcept up a good standard of cultivation.
