DAIRY INDUSTRY.
SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH. (By Telegraph—Special to Star.) WELLINGTON, July 3. The Government has been asked by Mr R. Masters to estabish in Taranaki province a scientific research laboratory for the dairying industry, and. in connection therewith an institution for the purpose of instructing dfaif y factory .employees in elementary science, siniilar to the British Dairy Institute and the dairy factory employees’ school at Ladelund, Denmark/ the expenses of the latter proposal to be borne by the Taranaki dairy factories and the Government in, a proportion to be decided upon.
