MATCHES YYITH ALI. BLACKS. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, July 2. A meeting of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union to-night received a request from the Auckland, Northland, and Ma.nawatu Unions to call a special meeting on August- 6 to consider rescinding a motion that no reinstated player be included in the New Zealand team. It jWas pointed out that the constitution rompelled the calling of such a meeting, but that three weeks’ notice was required. The All Blacks sail on July 29. Thus the alteration, could iot be made. WINTER. SHOW .MATCHES. Saturday will he an interesting football day. for, as usual, there will be two matches. The contest between Hawera and Stratford Seniors will be the star item, and as a curtain-raiser a match has been arranged between New Plymouth High School and Hawera Juniors. Both these promise to he excellent Rugger displays, and will draw great crowds from all parts. In the Wednesday competition Hawera beat Tokaora by 6 points to 3. For Hawera R. Goodwin scored a try and Eraser kicked a penalty goal. Palmer kicked a penalty goal for Tokaora.
