Burton. The question of the disposal of Crown land in blocks V., VI.. and IX., Mapara survey district, was adjourned. It was resolved that valuations be obtained of various Crown sections in the town of Ohura, with a Anew to offering them for sale at an early date. The board also dealt with' the following business arising out of the operations of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act: The board recommended the sale of 12 abandoned farms at the prices submitted; live transfers were approved and t.ivo transfers were refused: .one application by a partnership to divide their property was recommended, whilst one was refused.
