DEADLY TORNADO

THREE HUNDRED DEAD. FIFTEEN HUNDRED INJURED. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT NEW YORK, June 28. A telegram from Cleveland states that three hundred people are dead and fifteen hundred injured through a tornado in Ohio.

NEW 7 " YORK, June 28. A Cleveland message states that the Elyria fire department, which succeeded in reaching Loraine. which got the full force of the tornado, sent out a frantic appeal for help. It is reported that several hundred people were injured when a theatre collapsed. A motorist who drove from Loraine reported that east Loraine had been demolished and the city of Loraine swept away. A relief train was rushed to the scene. All communication wires are down, isolating Sandusky and olher points.—Reuter.
