DAMAGES FOR, WIDOW. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.') HAMILTON, June 26. At the Supreme Court Lucy Jenkis, widow of Manunui, claimed £2500 damages from the Pukeweka Sawmill Co. i'll loss of*her husband, who was Killed while working on locomotive belonging to the company. Evidence was given that a log on the side of the line telescoped the locomotive, killing claimant’s husband. The iury awarded £2OOO, one-third to the widow and twotlurds to the children.
