IMPORTANT SALE OF DAIRY STOCK. Tlie attention, of dairy farmers is urawn to the important sale of hi class dairy rattle that is being held “on Fmlay next at Tnaha, when the grade rattle, the property of the administrators m the estate of the late Alex. 0 Donnell, will eome under the hammer. The vendors having disposed of portion of their property upon which the graue stork have been pasturing to *»r das. Parkin, necessitates a dispersal sale. The herd was founded by the late Mr A. O’Donnell, who had purchased the property known as Rosv Lieeh, many years ago. The farm was also one of the first in South Taranaki to accommodate pedigree Jerseys; sinre then the Rosy Creek stud has become famous throughout Australasia. The original grade herd was selected with the greatest, care, the well-bred Jersey being preferred. Each succeeding vear the cows were judiciously culled,''and later replaced with stock of the owner’s own breeding. For many years only stud bulls have been used in the herd, consequently the stock to-day are practically purebred, and are looked upon as being among the best in this district. The yearling heifers are a choice line, chosen from the lieuvv yielding and high testing cows. The sale has been entrusted to ".Messrs R. P.
