ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.
HAWERA V. AUROA A. This match was played at Kino- Edward Park on Saturday last, aiul resulted in a win for the visitors by the udo goal in three. Hawera were leading at half-time, and early in the second half continued to press, but could do anything but score. Butler played a great game in goal for the Auroa team, who scored two goals in the last fifteen minutes. Hawera were unlucky not to equalize a fast shot from Galloway, just missing the upright, and the game finished as stated above—Auroa 2, Hawera 1. Mr \\\ Adams was referee.
