HAMPSHIRE. Received June 24, 11.5 a.m. LONDON, June 23. The South Africans, in their first innings- against Hampshire, ma.de 336. Nourse 121. Commaille 62, Blanckenberg 69. Newman took four wickets for 118. Hampshire, in their second innings, have- lost four wickets for 185 (Fowler not out 46). Stumps were drawn. The South Africans' innings lasted 270 minutes. Nourse-’s batting was characterised by strong driving and cutting. He hit sixteen fours and occupied the crease 170 minutes. —• Reuter.
