There was a good attendance, the course being heavy. The totalisator handled £64,001 10s, a decrease of £36666 on the similar day last year. Results: Tamiald Steeplechase, about two and 3' half miles,—Tuki ([Burt) 1, General Rose 2, Ditto. 3. Time, 5.22 2-5. Orakei Hurdles, one and threequarter miles.—Greekson (Barrow) 1, Vice Versa. 2, Lady Hill 3. Time 3.34 2-5. York Handicap, one mile,—Pompey (Goldfinch) 1, Zircon 2, Daylight 3 Time, 1.57 2-5. Winter Steeplechase, three miles.— Mary Bruce (J. Preston) 1, Sir Rosebery 2, Dick 3. Time, 6.30. Visitors Handicap, six furlongs King Cheops (R. E, Thompson) 1, Jolly Princess and Archibald dead heat 2 Time, 1.22. Fitzroy Handicap, six ' furlongs Whi t e Comet (R, Reed) 1, Night raider 2, Passionate 3. Time 150.
