THE TAXATION PROPOSALS CAUSES AN OUTBREAK. (Per Press Association. —< Rome, Oct. 12 Serious rioting has taken place in the city in connection with the taxation proposals of the Government. Twenty thousand residents of the Imperial"City waited upon the Marquis de Rudini protesting against the proposals. The evasive answers of the Premier to the demands of the gathering led up to the rioting. The police and soldiers were called to restore order and were stoned by the crowd. In defence they fired upon the rioters, killing three and wounding 30.
