SWIMMING CONTESTS.
—♦ MORE MATCHES ARRANGED
(Per Press Association. —Cvpijriijht.') London, Sept. 22. A swimming match has been arranged between Ernest Cavill and McCusker, of America, to swim in London a quarter of a mile for £2OO. The match will take place towards the end of October. Arrangements have also been made for Ernest Cavill to swim against A. Evans over 500 yards for £IOO. Percy Cavill has abandoned his intention of attempting to lower the existing record for five and a quarter miles.
