Supreme Court Sittings.

(By Telegraph.) (Per Press Association.) Wellington, This Day. In the Supreme Court A. D. Harper, charged with forging and endorsing a promissory note, pleaded guilty and was remanded for the Probation Officers' report. J. G. Ritchie, a lad of 15 years, charged with tampering with a little girl aged three, at Kiwitea, was acquitted. Louis Doyle pleaded guilty to theft and was sentenced to twelve months' hard labor. Hall and Roberts were convicted of assault and robbery and were sentenced to 15 months' each. Hanah Gilbert pleaded guilty to two charges of forgery and one of theft and was admitted to probation on the latter and ordered to come up.for sentence on the other charges when called upon. The Feilding shooting case, in which Thomas and Annie Looney, father and daughter, are charged with attempted murder, is now proceeding and will occupy the Court the whole I day. ___ ====== _ =
