Captain Edwin wired this afternoon : Wind between north and west and south-west at all places north of East Cape, Taupo, and New Plymouth; between north-east and north and west from thence southwarth to Blenheim and Nelson ; and between north and east and south-east elsewhere. Westerly gales with rain are to be expected at all places north of Auckland, northerly gales with rain from thence southward to Blenheim and Nelson, and easterly gales with, rain from thence southward.
