THE TRIAL OF GOLLI.
HE ATTEMPTS TO JUSTIFY THE CRIME. (Per Press Association. —< 'oi>yriyht.) Madrid, August 17. At the trial of Golli the prisoner defiantly attempted to justify the crime, but the Court refused to listen to the prisoner. His counsel pleaded that Golli was insane. Golli, who was found guilty, was sentenced to death. He will probably be executed by means of a garotte, a kind of steel collar by which condemned men are strangled.
