Captain Edwin wired this afternoon : Wind between east and riorth and north-west at all places northward of Napier, Taupo, and Raglan, and between north and east and south-east elsewhere. Barometer fall everywhere. Northerly gales with rain are to be expected at all places north of Napier, Taupo, and Raglan, and easterly gales with rain from thence southward to Timaru and Hokitika.
