The lioss ccrropondent of the Ilokitika Guardian relates a singular accident that occurred the otber day to a son of Mr Ilansbury. The youth was watching outside on the road and seeing his fat Lei" approaching rushed thoughtlessly into the ho ise to give the news, his head smashing through the glass door which had been closed without his knowledge. The boy sustained serious injury, his nose being nearly severed from his face. He is now in the hospital, but the probability is he will be disfigured for life.
