At the Bisley meeting, in the City of Loudon Corporation series of contests, open to Indian and colonial volunteers only, Carter (Victoria) won the first prize, £25 : King (Oamaru) third, Todd fourth, £lO each ; Walker sixth, £7 10s ; Hawthorne tenth, Howe twelfth, £5 each. The total money prizes won by the colonials at the meeting is :—Victoria, £*2lt>; New Zealand, £144; Queensland, £->4.
