♦— PREPARATIONS FOR AN EXTENSIVE DISPLAY. [By Telegraph.] (Ft /- Press Association.) Wellington, This day. The Tutanekai will probably leave for Sydney to-morrow to bring Lord Ranfurly to Wellington. Mr A. G. Johnson, who is the marshall in charge of the arrangements for welcoming the new Governor, proposes to have every available steamer at the heads on the return of the Tutanekai, when they will be crowded with citizens, and the vessels will escort the Governor to the wharf. On landing, a procession, consisting of all the societies, volunteers, &c., will be formed, and will parade the principal streets to Parliament House grounds, where the Governor will be sworn in.
